The famous Hawk and Dove bar was sold to Xavier Cervera on Tuesday, after boasting the same management and stylings for 44 years.
The bar will close temporarily for renovations, but will re-open under the new owner. Cervera bought rights to the bar’s name and some of its memorabilia, which will be returned to the walls, Capital Community News reported.
He plans to cover the interior with dark mahogany and is making plans to revitalize the exterior.
