Alumnus “Tuffy” Leemans was named one of the top 50 players of all time for the New York Giants on Bleacher Report.
Leemans began his professional football career in 1936 as part of the first ever NFL draft.
He retired after a successful five years. In his honor, the Giants dedicated December 7 as Tuffy Leemans Day.
