Campus minister Matthew Hill has been found safe after a four-day search effort, prompted by his sudden disappearance Tuesday.
Hill was found alive and unharmed, a group dedicated to the search for the missing minister posted about 8:30 a.m.
“We need to clarify. We confirm Matt has been found and is alive and unharmed,” the post said. “He also left on his own will. We don’t have any answers.”
Metropolitan Police officers initiated a “critical” search for Hill, who works for the Christian group Campus Outreach D.C., when he was reported missing Wednesday.
Hill was slated to visit Capitol Hill Baptist Church Tuesday, but never arrived after dropping a GW student off at 9th and H streets at about 10:30 a.m. and fell off the grid, CODC Executive Director David Russell said Friday.
