Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested a female subject Wednesday for allegedly soliciting prostitution at the nearby Melrose Hotel.
Officers from the MPD Narcotics and Special Investigations Unit responded to a listing by a female subject soliciting prostitution, according to police documents. On April 13, an undercover officer agreed to meet with the subject in room 318 to “engage in sexual activities in exchange for money.”
The undercover officer arrested and charged the subject – a 30-year-old, slender, white, 5-foot-6 female with gray eyes and blonde hair – for soliciting prostitution, according to the documents. The suspect is unnamed in police documents.
Evidence recovered during the arrest includes $3,486 in cash, a cell phone, computer, lubricant and condoms from the subject on the scene, according to the documents.
