President Barack Obama will discuss fiscal policy at the Jack Morton Auditorium Wednesday in a speech promoting the work of an independent presidential commission to curb the soaring national debt.
The 1:35 p.m. speech will be open to “to invited students and faculty,” the White House said yesterday.
University spokeswoman Candace Smith said the White House set aside student tickets that are being distributed by individual schools within the University.
“The White House is making tickets available to GW students for President Obama’s speech Wednesday at the Jack Morton auditorium at the George Washington University,” Smith said. “The University is working with schools to invite students to this event.”
