Concert on University Yard will be part of anti-nuke conference

Free Energy, Snowmine, and Model N will perform on University Yard April 9 as part of the weekend-long conference GZ|DC 2011.

 

Under Secretary of State Ellen Tauscher and Assistant Secretary of State Rose Gottemoeller will present opening remarks in Lisner Auditorium at the conference kick-off Monday at 6 p.m. Former CIA agent Valerie Plame will speak about nuclear proliferation, terrorism, and launch risks at the closing event on Sunday at 1 p.m., also in Lisner.

Global Zero, an international movement dedicated to the worldwide elimination of nuclear weapons, will put on the event.
