The Foggy Bottom farmer’s market, located behind GW Hospital, will make its season debut Wednesday.
Every year since 2005, when the market was first established, local vendors offer a variety of products ranging from fruits and vegetables to eggs, cheeses and desserts.
Returning vendors include Blueberry Hill Vegetables, Bonaparte Breads and Sunnyside Farm and Orchard. Atwater’s Bakery, another returning vendor, will also expand its offerings this year to sell hot foods and sandwiches.
Two new vendors – Pleasant Pops and Cedar Hill Farm – will sell frozen ice pops and organic dairy products, respectively.
The market will remain open every Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m until Nov. 24.
