Women’s cross-country runner Megan Hogan finished eighth today at the NCAA Cross-Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., with a time of 20:19.
Hogan finished the race tenths of a second behind the seventh and sixth place finishers and just six seconds out of third place. Villanova junior Sheila Reid won the individual championship with a time of 20:06. The Wildcats also won the team championship.
Hogan, who finished third at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Nov. 13 to qualify for the National Championships, is now a two-time All-American. The Ballston Spa, N.Y. native finished 27th at the NCAA Championships last season, which made her the first ever GW runner to be honored as an All-American.
