What we’re eating: Taste of Georgetown

This post was written by Hatchet reporter Rachel Davidson.

If eating delicious food and hanging out in Georgetown are two things you like to do, clear your calendar on  Oct. 9 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The time has come for D.C.’s 17th Annual Taste of Georgetown.

Tasters can choose from 60 sample dishes provided by 30 of Georgetown’s top restaurants—while listening to live jazz from Blues Alley. Wine, beer and spirit pairings will be available for anyone over 21.

Restaurants to look out for include Georgetown Cupcake, Old Glory BBQ, Crepe Amour, 1789, J Paul’s, Patisserie Poupon, Hook and Café Bonaparte.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the festival and cost $5 for one tasting and $20 for five tastings. Benefits from the event will go to the Georgetown Ministry Center’s services supporting the homeless.

The taste of Georgetown will take place on Wisconsin Avenue between M and  K streets NW.
