Jimmy Fallon will be the performer for this year’s Colonials Weekend, the University announced Monday.

Fallon will perform two shows Oct. 16 in the Smith Center as the headliner for Colonials Weekend, an annual event which gives parents and families a chance to visit campus. It begins Oct. 15 and ends Oct. 17.

Tickets range from $35 to $75 and can be purchased through the GW Ticketmaster – located on the lower level of the Marvin Center – beginning Aug. 9. Tickets can be picked up from the Ticketmaster office with a photo I.D.

Fallon is the host of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and will also host the Emmy Awards on NBC Aug. 29.

Jon Stewart was last year’s Colonials Weekend performer, and tickets to his performance sold out in nearly 24 hours.

Previous Colonials Weekend performers also include Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeld and Whoopi Goldberg.
