GW’s Mitchell Hall is the backdrop for a YouTube video mocking the summer interns working on Capitol Hill, which began to go viral Thursday when Washington Post reporter Jenna Johnson posted the video on her blog Campus Overload.
The video – a spoof of Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” video – is entitled “Interns on the Metro” and features a scantily-clad intern dressed as Lady Gaga dancing at a D.C. Metro station.
It pokes fun at “Hillterns” a term coined for summer interns working for members of Congress, who’s escapades around the city with their signature red I.D. badges usually wind up on the Spotted: D.C. Summer Interns blog.
