Here are some things to look forward to this week:

• Check out the premiere of “Oddsac,” a movie produced and created by the members of Animal Collective, at the AFI Silver Theatre April 21. The band and the director, Danny Perez, will be discussing the movie after the show. Tickets are $15.
• The best of both worlds: Beatallica, whose members perform Beatles songs in the style of Metallica, is playing at the Black Cat April 19. Tickets are $10.

And here’s some good new:

• ReadysetDC reports that Bicycling Magazine recently ranked D.C. as one of “America’s Top 50 Bike-Friendly Cities.” The District was voted 13 out of 50, faring better than Baltimore (48) and Arlington (30).
