Here are some things to look forward to this week:
- Allied in Pride is hosting a speed dating session in Phillips 306 Tuesday. Women seeking women is at 7 p.m., men seeking men is at 8 p.m. and men seeking women (and vice versa) is at 9 p.m.
- Local indie pop quintet Exit Clov is playing at the Black Cat Thursday with Gringo Star and Typefighter. Tickets are $10.
- The Multicultural Business Students Association and the Shopper’s Symposium are staging the fifth annual Hire Show Wednesday in the Marvin Center. The event will showcase “Generation Y’s depiction of temporary corporate attire.” Tickets are $10 and are available through the Multicultural Student Services Center.
And here’s some good news:
- In case you haven’t heard, GW has completed first lady Michelle Obama’s service challenge, and she will be speaking at the 2010 Commencement. Both The Hatchet and The Washington Post have the story.
