This is peak cherry blossom time, but if you want to avoid the National Mall this weekend, here’s what’s happening around the city.
Foggy Bottom fanfare:
- The Indian Students Association is bringing Holi to Lisner Auditorium Saturday. From 7-9 p.m., students will perform skits, songs and dance numbers in honor of the spring festival. Tickets are $10 for members of the association; $12 for nonmembers.
District must-dos:
- The Black Cat is hosting a screening of the Mountain Goats documentary “The Life of The World to Come” Saturday. The film features the group’s concert at Pomona College. Tickets are $8.
- Didn’t get tickets to Vampire Weekend’s Saturday show at Constitution Hall? Not to worry – you can still catch bassist Chris Baio doing a set as DJ at DC9 after the concert. Tickets are $8.
