Fashionistas of the Week is a weekly post featuring the three best dressed students on campus spotted by our fashion writer. Keep your eyes open for a reporter and photographer walking around because you might be chosen as the latest trendsetter.

Nicole Najjar, sophomore international affairs major
Often petite girls shy away from voluminous clothes like chunky sweaters or loose-fitting tops, but Najjar proves that it works beautifully! She sported a furry vest over an over-sized cream sweater with spacious sleeves contrasting with cerulean matchstick jeans and moccasins. Though her parents are Lebanese, Nicole was born in Venezuela, and her diverse fashion favorites like Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, and Christian Louboutin reflect her international heritage.

Sarah Hillware, freshman pre-med
We thought pre-med beauty queens only existed in the movies, but Hillware proved us wrong. This freshman turned heads in a well-fitted white coat, black boots with a fur border, and a leopard-print cap. Favoring the “classic, curvy feminine look” of the 50’s, she includes Tyra Banks and Audrey Hepburn among her style inspirations. While she has done a little modeling and considers competing for Miss America, school is Sarah’s top priority.

Greg Pina, sophomore interior design major
Pina’s style defines relaxed luxury. For an interior design major aspiring to create high-end residences in New York City, looking fabulous while feeling relaxed is vital. Crisp white pants and a neutral double-breasted coat balance out his eccentric floral shirt, while velvet Prada slippers with pink socks say “I’m comfortable, but I’m classy.” Though he has no specific style icons, Greg relies primarily on J.Crew to stock his closet.
