As the city starts to regain its sanity after the epic snowfall this week, students will once again emerge from their dorms and search for something to do this weekend. Here’s an idea of what’s happening:
Foggy Bottom fanfare:
- Get a great deal on the flamenco festival at Lisner Auditorium Feb. 14. Tickets start at $35 for the general public; GW students and alumni get them for $20.
- The Bottom Line is hosting a “Shred Your Ex, Meet Your Next” party tonight. Bring old photos, cards and letters from your past loves and put them through a shredder.
District must-dos:
- Searching for the next big thing in local music? The Rock and Roll Hotel is holding a concert Feb. 14 called – you guessed it – “The Next Big Thing,” which will showcase more than 20 acts from the area. Tickets are $15.
- Celebrate H Street bar The Pug’s third anniversary tonight. Donate $20 to charity (the bar is raising money for pancreatic cancer research) and drink for free all night.
