Snowmageddon, snopocalypse2, snOMG. Whatever you want to call it is coming down out there and GW students are taking advantage of the weather in many ways.
Last night, a snowball fight with nearly 100 students erupted on F Street, breaking a window in the Sigma Chi house, while others took the opportunity to relax in the warm indoors.
“We are ordering pizza and watching movies,” said freshmen Mallory Levy and Noor Kalkat while hanging out in Potomac last night. Another freshman hanging out with Levy and Kalkat, Olivia Nesbit added, “Hibernating; we are hibernating.”
Many snowball fights are planned for today, including the one occurring now at Dupont Circle. Various Tweets have noted hundreds of people at the Dupont Circle snowball fight. Various Facebook events mention GW snowball fights, including one at 4 p.m. right after the basketball game in front of Funger Hall.
Others are utilizing the time for some quiet homework time.
“Considering midterms are right around the corner at this point, I think I’ll use this as an excuse to catch up on work,” Junior Jasmine Maze said.
