It may be a bit wet outside, but here are some things to look forward to:

Rock and Roll Hotel hosts the 2nd annual H Street Karaoke Competition finals Jan. 26 at 9 p.m. Entry is free, so why not go and see who can best butcher your favorite songs?
ACKC Cocoa Gallery is holding a wine and chocolate tasting open house Jan. 26. Free wine and chocolate – yeah, the place will definitely be empty.
Ska-punk band Kill Lincoln is playing Jan. 28 at the Rock and Roll Hotel. They’re also looking for a new drummer, according to the group’s Web site.

And here’s some good news:

Panda Party ’10: DCist reports that there will be a farewell tribute to Tai Shan, a.k.a “Butterstick,” at the National Zoo before he heads back to China. The event’s sponsor – we kid you not – is Land O’Lakes.
