Two GW students were involved in a lovers’ spat that evolved into a simple assault on Friday, according to a Metropolitan Police report.

The man and woman, who told MPD officers that they had been lovers for a year and had gone through a “bad breakup,” allegedly fought over another woman.

The male student told police he punched the female student in the face after she ripped his T-shirt and bit him on his arm and shoulder in an attempt to stop him from leaving her apartment at on 25th Street.
