Officials to clear homeless encampment near campus in May
By Max Porter, Contributing News Editor • March 4, 2024

Four to eight inches of snow expected tonight

A winter storm warning is in effect for the District tonight between 7 p.m. and midnight after the National Weather Service predicted four to eight inches of snowfall.

Mayor Adrian Fenty said in an Alert DC e-mail that the city is prepared for the winter weather.

“This is one of the first plow events we have had this season, and we want to ensure we are able to maintain clear and safe roadways as we move into Monday morning,” said Fenty.

GW students should check the Campus Advisories Web site to see whether classes will be canceled on Monday.
