For the second time in three weeks, a bank on 20th street has been robbed.
A man entered an Eagle Bank location at 20th and K streets at around 12 p.m. Friday, and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash, a D.C. police news release said. The news release did not say how the suspect took the money.
The robber is described as a black male, just taller than 6 feet tall and around 220 pounds, the release said. He is believed to be in his mid 30s to early 40s, according to the release.
On Nov. 28, a man robbed the Bank of America location at 20th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, just a block and a half south of the Eagle Bank robbery. He took less than $1,000. The release did not say if the police thought the two crimes were related.
