TYSONS CORNER, Va. – More than 500 people are gathered at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in Tysons
Corner, Va., to celebrate former Gov. Mark Warner’s projected win and watch election results come in.
“He’s got the same values as us,” said Kimberly Kakalec, a law student
at George Mason. “He’s also done so much for Virginia’s economy. We’re here to support him for doing that.”
Warner and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, whose son attends GW, are expected to make a statement in front of eager supporters here at 9:30 p.m.
CNN has called the election for Warner, with 39 percent of precincts reporting.
