A source tells me that GW is going to play the University of San Francisco this December before the Colonials head out to Hawaii for the Rainbow Classic. Eddie Sutton, the legendary former University of Kentucky coach, is USF’s interim head coach. The team has fallen on tough times lately, but 11-time NBA champion Bill Russell and fellow Hall of Famer K.C. Jones starred on the school’s 1955 and 1956 NCAA Championship teams.
