As expected, Kim Beck started in the Seattle Storm’s preseason game yesterday agaisnt the Chicago Sky. Beck played 14 minutes and hit her only shot attempt to log two points. Interestingly, Beck had no assists and two turnovers in her time on the floor.

Sue Bird, the Storm’s star point guard did not play. Allie Quigley, Seattle’s other draft choice, went 0-for-6 from the floor but grabbed five rebounds and dished out four assists.

The Storm suits up next Friday in a preseason tilt with the Sacramento Monarchs. Tip is 7 p.m.
