Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will deliver a speech about the Iraq war at Marvin Center Monday morning, according to a news release issued by the New York senator Saturday evening.
Doors to the Grand Ballroom will open at 8 a.m. and public seats may be requested through Clinton’s Web site. The event will begin at 9 a.m.
University spokesperson Tracy Schario said Saturday night that the school has reserved 150 seats which they hope to distribute mainly to Law School, Medical School, and Elliott School of International Affairs students. She added that other students wishing to attend can e-mail [email protected] or arrive early.
“(The Clinton campaign) called Friday — about 4:45 — asking if we had space available for a Monday morning policy address,” Schario said. “And we have been working with them since then to confirm details.”
