Former men’s basketball player Maureece Rice is still enrolled at GW, the Office of the Registrar said Monday morning. Larry L. Fillian, who works in the Registrar, confirmed that Rice is still a student at GW.

Since Rice’s departure from the team late last week, rumors have been flying that Rice may have left school and returned to his hometown of Philadelphia. Rice did not answer knocks to his Francis Scott Key Hall room last night. If he has left campus and is not planning to return to finish up his senior year, he has not yet informed the University.
