Spring break starts today

It’s 12:45 am on March 6 here, which means I will be in Paris in less than 12 hours. I’m excited to have some good food (seriously, the thought of walking into a cafe and having a fresh croissant or a bread and cheese sandwich is more than exciting) and do some touristy stuff. From there, I go to Berlin for a few days, where I hope to have some good beer and learn more about the Holocaust. Then I go back for St. Patrick’s Day for three days before leaving for Budapest and Vienna–a trip I’m particularly excited about because I’ve never been outside the U.S. and Western Europe (unless you count the Caribbean, but even then I was just at a resort). I’ll be back in a week to tell you all about my experience and the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
