Women’s basketball’s Sarah-Jo Lawrence is one of 10 finalists for the Lowe’s Senior Class Award, which is given to a senior who succeeds both on and off the court. Joining Lawrence is Princeton’s Meagan Cowher (daughter of former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill); Kentucky’s Sarah Elliott; LSU’s Sylvia Fowles; La Salle’s Carlene Hightower; Georgia’s Tasha Humphrey; Maryland’s Crystal Langhorne; Colorado’s Jackie McFarland; Evansville’s Rebekah Parker; and Stanford’s Candice Wiggans. Lawrence, who is double-majoring in communications and sociology, has a 3.85 GPA and averages 13.2 points per game.

The Colonials next play Feb. 13, at Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass.
