Student Association Executive Vice President Brand Kroeger said he will not run for SA president or executive vice president this year, in an e-mail to The Hatchet on Wednesday afternoon.

Kroeger, who is also vice chair of the College Republicans, said he will run for CR chair this year.

“After the passage of the fee increase, free newspapers back in the dorms, Colonial Invasion, expanded wireless, Safeway on GWorld and everything else, Nicole and I have accomplished everything we set out to do,” said Kroeger, a junior. “I have had a blast as EVP but I’m going to spend my senior year doing what I said I wanted to do on my first day at GW, lead the College Republicans. That’s the only election I’ll be in this year.”

He added, “I’ve had a damn good time working for students.”
