Wesley Witherspoon, the highly-recruited high school senior and brother of current GW junior Wynton Witherspoon, is sitting behind GW’s bench at tonight’s game against Virginia Tech. The 9th ranked 2008 small forward (according to rivals.com) is rumored to be interested in playing for coach Karl Hobbs, but was mum in an interview with The Hatchet. He said he liked the attention of being a recruit but seemed disappointed in GW’s play (the Colonials trailed 30-14 at the time).

He would not give a timetable for a decision on his future.
