The finals of the Atlantic 10 Championship will be between Rhode Island and GW/St. Louis. It should be interesting to see how GW can handle Ian Voyoukas on a neutral court. Regis Koundjia, a junior, has his hand taped after injuring it yesterday against Saint Joseph’s. When GW lost to St. Louis earlier this year, Luke Meyer had 15 points and six rebounds. Tommie Liddell had 13 points 10 rebounds. Senior Carl Elliott and sophomore Rob Diggs had 12 a piece for GW. Karl Hobbs, Maureece Rice and Elliott all said GW’s improved rebounding prowess will help it overcome the Billikens in the A-10 tournament. It was outrebounded 38-25 in the loss in Missouri.

Relatively empty Boardwalk Hall tonight. Tickets were still available a few minutes ago for tonight’s game. It’s a shame. Cool venue and two good teams with a lot on the line tonight.
