PROVIDENCE, R.I., Nov. 26 — The GW men’s basketball team got out-rebounded XX-XX but still managed to get to halftime leading 41-40 here at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Rhode Island’s capital city.
After two offensively-anemic games, Carl Elliott seemed to turn it back on, racking up 8 first-half points. Maureece Rice put up 12 points to lead GW and Noel Wilmore had three three-pointers for 9 points.
The Friars got 14 from Sharaud Curry (two three-pointers) and Herbert Hill had 10, including five from the charity stripe.
