GW’s men’s basketball team did what Head Coach Karl Hobbs said it needed to do – get out of the gate strong. Spurred by their guard play and a quick, trapping defense, the Colonials started their season on a 16-3 run against Boston University. BU seemed to adjust to the trap and came back towards the end of the half, bringing the score to 38-31.
Senior Carl Elliott leads GW with 10 points, while Carlos Strong has 10 of his own for the Terriers.
