Friday, March 24, the Hatchet’s editorial board will conduct its annual Student Association and PB endorsement hearings. With the proliferation of slates this year, the endorsements should shape up to be interesting. Four EVP candidates are running – all with ties to a presidential candidate. For the first time in a few years, the PB Executive Chair position is contested. It’s surprising that it isn’t contested more often, since the PB controls a budget in excess of $200,000 and has arguably one of the best mandates – to put on concerts and other fun programming for the student body.

The EVP and presidential candidates will be interviewed separately, giving the chance for a president and an EVP not running together to receive simultaneous endorsements.
