I find myself wondering why it took President Trachtenberg OVER THREE WEEKS to respond to an earlier reported Hatchet article.

Not that I too want to be labeled a “Trachtenberg apologist,” it is only fair to note that the President did send in his editorial much earlier than it was printed.

There are two factors involved here. One, the space devoted to each section of the newspaper changes each issue depending on the volume of ad sales. Two, we are non-daily, so oftentimes it does take a few weeks for a response to appear in the paper.
