The GW gymnastics team scored its highest total of the season Friday to finish second out of three teams at Kent State University.
The Colonials’ 195.400 total put them ahead of Bowling Green University’s 194.975 and behind the Golden Flashes’ winning total of 196.350.
Senior Rachel Mann led GW, finishing with a 9.900 as the top Colonial on the floor exercise, followed closely by senior Lindsay Parks’ score of 9.875.
Mann also garnered a 9.775 to tie freshman Maggie Parrack and sophomore Erin Aiken on the uneven bars.
Aiken and senior Lindsay Parks tied for second with Kent State’s Jessie James on the vault, and Aiken led GW on the beam with a 9.875 – good for an eighth place tie.
The Colonials’ have a dual meet with North Carolina State Friday in Raleigh, N.C.
