The Student Association Senate canceled its Tuesday meeting because of inclement weather. The Senate planned to vote on the Finance Committee’s mid-year review of student group funding, but will now vote on it Feb. 3.
“Students are going to have to wait another week for the Senate’s decision on their appeals,” SA President Kris Hart said. “There’s nothing they can do.”
Student leaders said postponing the mid-year review bill will not effect student groups involved in the process.
Daleo said he postponed the meeting after learning the University canceled Tuesday classes after 4:30 p.m.
“The mid-year bill isn’t as important as people’s safety,” he said. “The University isn’t closing for fun.”
