University Police responded to a complaint from Parking Department officials. The complaint arose after members of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity placed trash in the University parking lot adjacent to the house. The members complied in removing the trash.

University Police arrived on the scene after an individual reported having her purse stolen out of her handbag by two individuals in an elevator.

Officers approached an intoxicated individual lying in the street. It was determined that the individual had to be taken to the emergency room. The individual ran from the hospital before checking out but was found a few minutes later; he was arrested for underage drinking.

A University official spotted an employee of a sound company recording the Jay Leno performance. University Police arrived and the individual was forced to hand over his recording device.

Officials at the Bank of America contacted University Police after a GW graduate student attempted to cash three checks written to GW. The monetary value of the checks exceeded $75,000. Metropolitan Police were notified and the subject was arrested. U.S. Secret Service was also notified because one of the checks was from the Treasury Department.

A resident called University Police after noticing a “suspicious” individual sitting on the front steps. University Police approached the individual and found that he had urinated on himself. A 32-oz. bottle of King Cobra malt liquor was also found on the individual. The individual had previously barred from campus on two separate occasions.

After receiving a call from a Community Facilitator, University Police conducted an administrative search and found marijuana paraphernalia.
