Students can pick up free tickets for the GW women’s basketball game against the University of Tennessee Nov. 12-16 at the Ticketmaster outlet in Marvin Center room 250 from 8a.m. to 10 p.m. The home game will be played Nov. 27.
About 1,600 seats have been reserved for students, in one of the most highly anticipated GW games of the year. The GW athletic department said students are asked to pick up reserved tickets for this marquee match-up well in advance of the game.
The Colonials are ranked No. 20 in the preseason Associated Press poll and No. 22 in the USA Today/ESPN poll. Tennessee is the pre-season No.2 team in the country.
Students also will have one additional opportunity at the Smith Center box office on Saturday, Nov. 17, during the women’s basketball game against Hartford University from 6 p.m. until the conclusion of the game, when the box office closes.
Student must present their GWorld cards for one reserved general admission ticket in the student section. Students with tickets must arrive before 6:45 p.m. the night of the game or their seats will be released to other students.
