Thomas Blankvoort led the Colonials golf team to a 14th place finish in a field of 16 teams at the Pirate Fall Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday in Greenville, N.C.

Blankvoort’s four-under-par 212 (73-69-70) was good for 10th place among 81 competitors. He finished nine strokes behind Eastern Kentucky University’s Brad Morris, who won the tournament with a 13-under-par 203 (67-69-67).

GW combined to shoot a 915 (309-298-308). Eastern Kentucky won the tournament, shooting a combined score of 837, followed by host East Carolina University.
