Kim Warner scored two second-half goals to break a 1-1 tie and lead the GW women’s soccer team past Wagner College 3-1 Sunday afternoon at the Wagner College Athletic Field. The Colonials improved to 2-1, following a defeat to Georgetown on Friday at the Mount Vernon field.
On Sunday, GW took an early 1-0 lead after Erin Coppedge beat Wagner goalkeeper Dana Honcharuk. Wagner’s Erin Schobert tied it when she beat GW goalkeeper Christine O’Malley.
In Friday’s 2-1 home loss, Georgetown’s Jessie Beers-Altman broke a 1-1 tie when she beat O’Malley with 17 minutes remaining.
