The GW volleyball team failed to win a match at this weekend’s Pacific Women’s Volleyball Tournament in Stockton, Calif., stretching the team’s winless streak to six matches.
But the Colonials (0-6) showed promise by winning their first game of the year, a 30-21 defeat of Northwestern University (3-2) in game one Saturday. The Wildcats won the following three games.
Outside hitter Laura Harrison recorded a career-high 13 kills in the Northwestern match.
The University of Connecticut (6-1) and the University of the Pacific swept the Colonials.
