GW Sports Communications announced Thursday GW basketball player Attila Cosby has been suspended from the men’s basketball team for “failing to meet his academic obligations,” GW head coach Karl Hobbs said in a press release.

“Attila has been suspended until he successfully completes his academic requirements and shows he can sustain his commitment to his academic career at the George Washington University,” Hobbs said.

Hobbs could not immediately be reached for comment.
